Provides administrative assistance and support to both the Communications and Development departments.
Assist Communications and Development with events.
Assist in the processing of gifts on a regular basis which includes report generation and reconciliation.
Create correspondence, acknowledgement letters, mailing lists, proposals and other materials necessary for marketing, donor solicitation and cultivation, stewardship, and volunteer activities.
Perform constituent updates in database and report on constituent activity and or gift history.
Prepare reports on marketing trends, statistics, and expenditures.
Create purchase orders and prepare monthly itemization reports.
Update Communications and Development SharePoint pages.
Order supplies and organization stationary.
Maintain departmental archives and electronic database of archives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education: 4 year college degree in communications, English, marketing, public relations or related field or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years' experience in marketing, public relations, advertising or Fundraising.
Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with SharePoint.
Essential Physical Abilities:
Lifting and carrying 10-15 pounds; Developed fine motor control (grasp, handle, manipulate objects with fingers;
Standing for long periods of time; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders. Able to travel across a variety of surfaces (stairs, ramps, uneven terrain)

Office working environment. This position may require travel to store locations, and attending offsite meetings and events.
